I am still waiting for my stats so I sort of feel like I am hearing the ticking before a bomb goes off. It is almost more stressful because nothing can be done... Just wait, wait, and HOPE that stats kid pounds it out ASAP. I have 2 weeks to consider the data, determine implications, write it out, and format it. NBD. So... naturally, I did what any self respecting grad student in such a predicament would do... Went on another trip :-)

My family has always run the Zeigiest half marathon... It is a key event every fall that warrants a trip home. I didn't know for sure if I could even go for the weekend and between my sort of insane work and school schedule, I sadly admit to an entirely sedentary lifestyle over the last 3 months. Long story short: I can hardly walk today without remembering that I need to run more. Holy sore.

It was great to see the family... Had my regular slumber party with the kids... Lets just say we may need to reevaluate future sleeping arrangements bc I somehow got the foot of the bed while they enjoyed actually being in it. Madison has officially experienced the excitement of SHATTER nails.

All-in-all, it was a great trip. Good to see the fam, the Petersons, and the CP ward.
